As a Levitical priest, Ezekiel would have been especially aware of the connections between the temple and the garden of Eden. His view for a future temple also looks back to that primeval sanctuary of Eden where God walked with Adam and Eve in the garden. Notice some of these parallels between Ezekiel’s message and humanity’s original situation in Eden with God.
