Do you remember the vision Isaiah had when God called him to his ministry? He saw YHWH seated on His heavenly throne. That put a lot of human history in perspective. Ezekiel, a priestly prophet, has a vision that has a similar effect. He sees a perfect heavenly temple where the one true God can be worshiped in His holiness and glory. 

Let’s explore the contrast between that vision and the vain glory of human rulers presuming to be at the center of the universe.
