The interpretation of Daniel’s dreams has had so many casualties we had to be cautious. But even for explorers there are lots of obvious take-aways: YHWH is the author of history and the only one that controls the future. So, He can certainly give dreams about things that have not yet happened. He can put those dreams in whatever form He wants. And He can certainly provide an interpretation to someone who honors Him as the only Sovereign of the universe.

We’ll revisit the predictions of Daniel in the next lesson, but not until we look more closely at the message they conveyed to the arrogant impostors of Daniel’s day.
