God wants to have a relationship with us. One way to have that is to pray. He wants us to seek him all the time. I love the example that he used about not praying and miss the blessings that God has for us. God has a party for us and when we don’t show up we miss the blessings. When we pray we see him and trust him.

We pray to God because of the intimate relationship with him. He knows what we think and say before we are even aware of it. But coming to him in praying are voicing those thoughts bring us closer to him.

I love the fact that He wants to talk with me, and He rewards for diligently seeking Him.

I loved the thought of God calling me to come talk with Him. It encourage me to come to Him not out of duty but to be with Him and be blessed in that time of intimacy.

Biggest insights for me among other things was God does hear our prayer. He’s not an aloof God, He is a present God and He has called me to bear my heart to Him in prayer. What a priviledge that is!
