Prayer is powerful. Too often, I am guilty of listing off a checklist of the people and situations that need prayer. But that’s not what this Psalm is teaching us, it’s cultivating a relationship, it’s not just a “Lord, please do this and this and help this and this person”, it’s listening, waiting and anticipating to see what God will do – it’s relational!

How wonderful that He wants us to talk with Him – the God of the Universe wants a relationship with us!!

Even though life can be difficult and bring about painful moments, we are precious in the eyes of God and He inclines His ear to us, the lowly. He is gracious, righteous, and merciful and bows down to listen when we call upon Him and are thankful to Him. He is our eternal Father!

I learned once again that our Father, our GOD always listens and hears even the faintest and unsophisticated prayer because He takes the time to bend down from His throne of mercy to hear and respond with His grace in my time of any need at all. Thanks be unto GOD my Strong Tower

I learned the importance of prayer is that it seems like we’re just saying words, we’re really doing, action because God hears us and answers in his timing.

Prayer is not considered to be one of the spiritual gifts, but a privilege made available through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This personal experience is having a relationship with the author and perfecter of our faith . Who bends low to hear our prayers.
