As a teacher, I often bend down to get eye-level with my students as they are working. I had this imagery with God bending down to get eye-level to better listen to me. It made the idea of prayer more intimate.

Sometimes prayer is the only thing that can resolve an issue or help us get what is needed.

He is listening wanting me to communicate with Him. In Psalm 116:2 it says, “Because he turned his ear to me…” He doesn’t ignore us. He wants to hear from us.
