God wants to hear our prayers. Sometimes because God is God and he has many prayer requests I tend to think my prayers aren’t important. Also that many things in life happen because of prayer.

I’m amazed at how new insights are revealed in studying and meditating on God’s word. The intimacy revealed in some of these verses somehow escaped me in the past.

I really enjoyed learning how the Lord leans down to hear our prayers. I always lean in when I’m interested and also when I like the person talking with me and I don’t want to miss anything that they’re saying. This makes me feel great about how God views me and I’m really taking this personally, which is revolutionary for me.

God bends down to hear our prayers. He loves us and is available to us, ALWAYS. The Lord wants to hear from us, ALWAYS. Prayer is a privilege. Prayer is a conversation. Prayer, while not a spiritual gift, it is a gift for everyone to use.

All of the scriptures presented in this lesson simply reinforced what I already knew about the importance of prayer. It is an essential part of our relationship with God. What a privilege we have to be able to pray to the God of all creation, and have Him gladly listen and respond! He is a personal and knowable God who wants to be active in our lives.
