I loved the thought of God calling me to come talk with Him. It encourage me to come to Him not out of duty but to be with Him and be blessed in that time of intimacy.

Biggest insights for me among other things was God does hear our prayer. He’s not an aloof God, He is a present God and He has called me to bear my heart to Him in prayer. What a priviledge that is!

That I don’t need to be worried about what I say, did I say it right or in a right time – the most important is just to continue talk to God day by day, talk like with my mom, my dad, tell him everything that I have on my mind

The lesson encouraged me to enjoy the time I spend in God’s presence, rather than aiming for a ‘perfect prayer life’. I can trust and rely that God has everything in his hands and this is not dependent on me praying or not praying, yet He allows me to work together with Him. God is good and wants to give good gifts to us.

God gives full attention to all prayer. Once I call upon His name, I have His full attention, I have the attention of the most High God waiting on me to call upon His name and he will draw down to me.
