Getting that picture in my mind that God is bending down to listen to me reminded me how really important is praying in life. His love is so big that even when I do not set Him in my life where He must be, He is always ready to listen and spend time with me.

I talk to God throughout the day as a friend but I think I forget the importance of sitting in silence with him and praying deeply. I also need to implement ACTS more into my prayer.

God truly desires to have a relationship with us, even me. Psalms116 is a great example of why to pray, and Matthew 6 is where Jesus teaches us how to pray. But in Numbers 6:24 Moses taught Aaron to have the people seek after God, and that our Lord would hear, and turn toward us as we pray.

I constantly pray (talk to God) minute by minute throughout the day and too often fail to slow down, stop, and have a deep conversation with my Father. I usually do all the talking, and although I’m in tune with the Holy Spirit and walk in obedience, I am missing out on the intimacy and deeper connection that purposeful, dedicated prayer provides. After reading the scripture once, and then twice, I prayed it and I have never experienced prayer and intimacy with God in that way before.

Sometimes I just think ‘it’s okay, God’s got it’, but I haven’t prayed about it. But God answers ‘because’ we pray. So while I’m trusting God to take care of it, I haven’t actually spoken to Him about it. And now that I’m typing that out, it sounds so obviously flawed. Must work on that in my prayer life!
