God wants us to seek Him in prayer. Jesus modeled it and He rewards those who seek Him. He wants us to seek Him not only in distress and sorrow but all times.

While living my own life ,in my early twenties I prayed every night before bed. Even then I didn’t know what I know now about prayer. At that age I didn’t even know He W A N T E D a relationship with me til I got older. Psalm 116:2 (nasb) says, “He inclined His ear”,(nlt) “Because He bends down to listen”. That is so comforting. No matter what we go through , personal ,or praying for someone else we find peace, comfort and strength in prayer. Knowing that God is in control. No matter the outcome. Know Yahweh lends His ear, Yahweh bends to hear me is extraordinary. To know that prayer is a part of a relationship with Yahweh. Speaking to Him even though He already knows what you’re going to pray for…it’s the overall communication between Father and daughter,Father and son. Yahweh wants to talk to us in prayer and conversation.

I am in awe by the wording of the Scripture! I don’t recall if I have read this passage before, but I shall never forget that today I learned that God expects us to call on Him in good times as well as when things are not so good. He expects us to call unto Him. How wonderful it is to come to our Father in prayer – not because we have to, but because we can! To God be the glory for the wonderful things He has done!

That we must pray everyday. Also, I didn’t know that God expects us to pray to Him everyday. Wow, that there is powerful to me. That is saying don’t just pray only when you are in need. God’s word the more I read it, it is so Brilliant and Powerful

I loved that the scriptures say that after Hezekiah prayed to the Lord – the Lord responded “BECAUSE YOU HAVE PRAYED TO ME.” POW!!!! That was powerful to me. Situations don’t change if we don’t pray. Loved that!!! God wants to partner with us in everything so we must pray.
