I can relate to identification, in that by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we no longer belong to this world. I now live the way Jesus wants me to live and I can only do this through His strength.
I think the union is a bit difficult to relate to, since I see myself as flawed I feel I am not worthy to be in “one flesh” with Him. It’s a concept I’m going to have to get used to. -
Incorporation is the easiest. When we are in Christ, it follows that we should be united with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
The most difficult is union, from a theological view point. How could we who are sinners by nature by united with the infinite holy one? It’s remarkable!

I think the easiest for me to understand is identification. I can more easily see how we switch kingdoms and go from being in Adam to being in Christ. I think the most difficult would either be participation and/or union. I sit and try and meditate on my union with him sometimes. There are moments I can definitely tell He is working through me, and then there are moments when I am completely aware of my own humanity and I do not feel connected to Him.

Union. I by God’s grace experience His presence, I believe, when I look to Him persistently every morning. I believe I experience His coming to be united to my spirit.

I can relate best to incorporation as I understand the need for the body of Christ to be in unity to achieve the kingdom of God. But at the same time it is disheartening to see that this incorporation isn’t happening as well as it should be. Identification with Christ is sometimes hard to keep central in my mind. As a human, it is easier to relate to sinful humanity rather than the holy Son of God. Conceptually I get the message of Christ becoming human and living the perfect life so that He could be the sacrifice for my sins but sometimes it’s hard to accept that I have a new nature especially after I have sinned.
