  Think about your walk with Christ thus far. When have you been most devoted to Him and to the spiritual practices that help you walk more closely with Him day by day?

  I have been walking with the Lord as a Christian for 35 years now. I find myself to be the most devoted to him when I am actively involved in his service. It is during the times that I find meaningful things to do for the kingdom that I live most closely to Christ. When I attend church regularly, get involved in ministries and outreach, and do what I can to further the gospel. I also make a conscious choice to set a good example daily for my children to follow. I read my Bible, pray often, listen only to uplifting music, and take time to praise and worship daily. I find that the more I do for him, the more I want to do for God.

  My Answer to ” When have you been most devoted to Him and to the Spiritual practices that help you walk more closely with Him day by day?” was when I was a Adult Volunteer in a Hospital Facility as essentially a ‘Friendly Visitor’ to those receiving Health-care. Another probably MORE ‘significant time’ personally was when I was caring for my ‘Ailing’ Parents and Grandparent,which happened well over 10 years ago;as of this reply.

  I am closer to God when I am talking with Him and reading about Him in scripture and worshipping Him and listening to the Holy Spirit. I need God’s presence; I need His love, and I need to know God through the scriptures. Drawing closer and closer every day.
