it let me understand more about Jesus. the doctrine give me more information about trinity. God the father sent his son to die in my place so that I may have eternal life by believing in him. The Holy Spirit give me power in my daily work in the Lord.

That he in what he bore was a testament of his love for me.

Reflecting on the identity and nature of God and Christ always helps me reflect on the fact that God is both transcendent and immanent. It reminds me that God as the Creator is sovereign over all, but since Jesus came to earth as a human, he is also knowable and graspable.

What a great God we serve , he took on every weakness of mine so I can overcome in him. My head is bowed in perpetuity for who he is and what he’s done.

Adorning is essentially what we do to make ourselves or something look better than the way it was before. It is our way to stand out. That’s what happens when we “adorn” ourselves in the truth of the Word of God. We become a better version of who we once were.

We wear His robe of righteousness, given from him to us who were sinners, but by his gift(s) we are forgiven. The Holy Spirit lives within us keeping us on the right path here on earth (that is to say, if one is a believer), until Christ comes back to take us to our eternal, heavenly home.

Why do we adorn the walls of our house with pictures or artwork? Because an empty wall isn’t much to look at.
Similarly, to adorn the doctrine of God is to “wear” it or display it in our lives for others to see. When we cling to the doctrine of God in our lives we (a wall) display God’s goodness (artwork) for all to see.

To adorn God is to recognize that God is Lord over all and that he must be first in my life always.

God Is my everything. He stated in his word that if he be lifted up he would draw all men unto him. As a child of God I want others you see the light of God within me. Greater is he that is within me than he that is in the world.
