Wrap-Up

Although Paul is often viewed as the most unlikely apostle, Peter had a long way to go himself. This lesson gave us plenty of reason to appreciate the dramatic change in Peter: the fisherman and impetuous disciple; the eyewitness of the transfiguration, who became a spiritual shepherd of other shepherds; a man who came to respect his one-time opponent Paul; a man who would willingly choose to die for his Lord—even upside down to illustrate his unworthiness.
