1. Kinship groups involved their own relational norms and standards. People were expected to behave one way within these groups and another way outside of them. Because of this, people within one’s group were held to different expectations than those outside of it. Identify each of the characteristics or relational expectations with outsiders or insiders of one’s kin group.
