In 1 Peter 3:15-16, Peter says : Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. We should embrace apologetics with reverence, worship and service that Jesus is Lord. Be prepared with an apología. And to do so with a good character: gentle with respect, humility and love.

By thoroughly understanding why we believe what we do, we are able to live consistently with our beliefs. If we are living consistently with our beliefs, nobody should have a valid reason to slander us — our morals, behavior, speech, thoughts, etc. should all be above reproach. This in itself strengthens our witness to others, but even more, it gives us a solid foundation to stand on when others begin to wonder why we do behave differently than others. It opens doors for us to share our faith with those around us who don’t know the Lord.

to share in the hope you have found in Christ, so that those who hate you and treat you harsh because of your behavior and faith in Christ may be ashamed ans turn to God, it is better to suffer doing the good work of Christ than to suffer eternal separation from God because of doing evil.

We are Gods ambassadors to his word and responsible to each other for spreading the “good news.” Embracing apologetics and continually studying and researching makes us better communicators of Gods word

Christ should be in our hearts which will or should show through our daily lives. This will draw people to ask where your hope comes from. This will also keep people from speaking poorly of you.

To explain and defend the message of God’s word by bringing unbelievers to conversion.
-
Apologetics is quite literally defense of the faith; the Greek word apologia means “defense” as a lawyer gives at a trial. In every generation, people face the challenges, questions, and concerns of the gospel message of the Christian faith
-
It is your defence of scripture, it is not an apology for scripture.
-
Apologetics is a way to help people see the logical path to God. It does not make them take a leap of faith, it makes the leap seem possible.
-
Apologetics is the defense of our faith. It is NOT an apology for our faith or beliefs.
