Christian Learning Center Forums The lecturer states she “would contend that only a believer is able to truly love wisdom as God created us to love.” Do you agree or disagree? Explain.

I would agree. Someone who doesn’t know the Lord can love worldly wisdom and the pursuit of knowledge, but they cannot truly know the things that lead one down the path of wisdom. It is only through a relationship with God that we can seek wisdom. Proverbs personifies Wisdom as one that walks the streets and shouts out. Those who don’t know the Lord cannot heed the calling of wisdom.

I agree as wisdom comes from God.

I agree with this statement. The Bible also states that if anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask God who gives generously to all without reproach and it will be given to him. We must love God to truly love the wisdom that only He can give.

Everyone is at different stages in their journey and interprets as it applies to them at the time

I totally agree because all things come from God!
