My leadership in terms of these five different capacities is mixed. On one hand, I am able to look at my “gap” and see value in it, I see something I need to strive for and in need of filling no matter how big. My desire to take feedback from others is healthy as I do want to hear the opinions of others so that I can voice my own through decision making and general common sense. Parallel context is fine as I tend to listen to other people in my position and judge how they work and ask them for advice to implement it into my own style. My main issue is the “gut” as I tend to not trust it too much or worry about making a mistake if I go with my gut feeling as I feel more comfortable asking others on what I should do next or what my judgement call should be.

I believe that I was just recently put into a leadership role that is perfect for me. I am blessed to have leaders above me that will be honest with me whether it be good or bad. I am working on being a stronger leader and teacher to people that are under me because I know it’s my job to help them become better leaders. As far as my gut, the Lord has made it quite clear this is where I am supposed to be. I love every aspect of it.

With leadership there are five categories: the “gap”, the “fit”, feedback from others, parallel context, and your “gut”. My leadership under those would be described as this. The “gap” i know when something needs to stop or when im bored and when to fix that. Im currently at a job that ive worked for over a year and a half and ive realized that its not worth in anymore because the pay isnt high and with my talents and abilities i would be able to get more somewhere else and not have as much stress. If i get bored of something i usually fine tweak it or find something else to do and then come back to it. The “fit” for me is my abilities im a fast paced and hard worker. I work on the things that i need to improve on myself like my patience and scoial skills. I know i fit somewhere when i see for myself how the work environment is and how i impacted it. Feedback from others for me is critical for me to grow in life. Whether im doing something wrong and it needs to be corrected or im doing something right and in return get a compliment or praise. Anything that i do in life is not going to be perfect because im not perfect but it’s important to fine tweak that and become the best me that i can and put out the max of the best i can 100% each time. Parallel context.. Your “gut” is how i deal with a situation and make up my mind on what to do about it. How to deal with it in a manner that is appropriate and efficient. If i feel that something is wrong go to someone about it to get their input.
