  I have known the beatitudes, but I see now that it really is about counterculture, and humility.

  I learned a renewed appreciation for the counter-cultural living we are asked by Jesus. It is a confirmation that being called ‘rebel’ is not always a bad thing.

  I think the only thing I learned new was the reference to Moses. The Beatitudes are all about our growth in the spirit and are a fantastic foundation for our faith.

  I think the way it is broken down helps the ordinary lay person to appreciate the wisdom it contains.

  The breakdown of the book as a whole. I really enjoy how that is all broken down to help us understand better.
