I learned how to divide up Matthew so I can remember details better. Mathew focused his writing on Jesus. He made it easy to learn how Jesus would respond to life’s problems, Keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the author and perfector. of our faith. Jesus came to fulfill the law and better explain God’s intentions for our life. The teachings on parables are grouped as well and the teaching on end times. We also have an organized account of the miracles Jesus performed.

I did not realize it was so reflective of Moses to be called a “new Moses” teaching.

I had not previously noted the structure of the organization of the Sermon. What I mean is, the different examples and contrasts that are laid out. This was very interesting to see laid out. It will be interesting to see what more I can learn from this new perspective.

I did not know of that the book of Matthew had a specific and meaningful order. The way that the presenter described order was very well done.

Listening to the lecturer, I noticed that he pointed out the organization of the sermon. Looking at how Jesus presented the information in order for the people to better understand.
