While there is evidence of some tension between Peter and Paul, the book of Acts emphasizes their common mission. These two men came from very different backgrounds. But they came to share an agenda and the same gospel. 

Rather than dwell on their differences, Luke highlights parallels in their ministries. Some of these parallels are given in the table below.
