How deep do you want to eventually go in your knowledge of the Greek language?

At the moment, I am learning another language besides Greek. For now, I just want to learn enough Greek to be able to check the English-Greek inter-linear Bible, whenever it puzzles me why the English Bible phrases a verse in such a way. Perhaps in the future, when I can concentrate on one language at a time, then I would like to be able to read the Greek Bible in my devotions.

I’d like to go all the way with Greek, going as deep as I can but acknowledging it will be a challenge.

I am not sure at this point. In all fairness, I will say that I don’t want to be unfamiliar, however, as I continue in my biblical studies, it will be interesting to know where it takes me in terms of wanting to learn more deeply the Greek language.

Not sure yet. Right now, just very surface level. But who knows? Maybe I’ll go deeper from there.

The Greek language is one of the most complex languages in the world. While I would give it a try.

I hope to be able to read part of the Bible in Greek, even if it is only an isolated verse.

I have always been curious about the Biblical Greek and wanted to see what it was all about.

I want to know & understand the New testament better, and be more skilful in my use of Interlinears, Lexicons, dictionaries, and Commentaries which reference the Greek Text.

A better understanding of the biblical text, to hear God’s words.
