2 Samuel-2 Kings: The Difference Leaders Make

As usual, Dr. Stuart is concise and clear in delivery. I like the way he masterfully drew broad strokes of the Old Testament such that we can remember, e.g. David's Triumph, David's Transgression, David's Troubles. He gave an interesting interpretation of why David's census-taking was wrong, and drew interesting contrasts of wisdom and folly even in the life of Solomon.

A good amount of food for thought.

This was a really good course with lots of information that is very relevant to Christian believers today. We get to see both the good and the bad kings of Israel and learn how their faithfulness or unfaithfulness to God impacted Israel both positively and negatively.

I learn a great deal from Our Daily Bread University. I love it!

Lesson four was more challenging. I suppose it was a great amount of information that was a little overwhelming and difficult to organize for me. It was a challenge but I'm glad I was finally successful.

Loved the historical emphasis and thought the lessons were very interesting

I have to say that I have enjoyed it ! There was a lot to learn about the periods of the ages in the commentary, and I tried to get it all in perspective, and retain what I learned. I find all the courses great, and thank you for the learning experience.

Good effective courses. I am learning.

The course gave a good broad overview of the books of 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, and 2 Kings which otherwise includes incredible details of people, times, events, and places. The course was helpful in identifying the major themes in these books and contributes to my overall understanding of the Bible as a whole. I would recommend this course to others.

Even though I think I have a pretty good handle on the Old Testament, I continue to learn new things.
