Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Job: Wisdom

The Bible invites us to look at the empires of David and Solomon from different angles. We’ve seen political, military and moral perspectives in Kings and Chronicles. There are other books associated with their reigns … books of wisdom and poetry. In this module we’ll join Solomon in his quest for wisdom in Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. We’ll also join Job in his involuntary search for wisdom.

These books provide profoundly personal insights that are also surprisingly accessible in the created world around us. Join us for this plunge into a unique form of God’s revelation.
