What do you think are the biblical roots of what some of us call the Lord’s Supper, Communion or the Eucharist? And what do these ordinances or sacraments have to do with Easter?

In this lesson we’ll explore the original Passover event and the liturgy that God put into place so his people would be ready for the coming of Christ. We’ll give you a glimpse of a live Passover slaughter that still takes place every year to this day among the Samaritans. We’ll also have a reenactment of our own with a group of believers in Israel after marching through the streets of Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.

I suspect that by the end of this lesson you’ll have a new appreciation for not only what God was revealing in this festival—but also how he revealed himself.
