I have always thought of leadership as someone who makes good decisions for the group as a whole, never their own agenda. Someone who can lead a group regardless of differences. Getting that group to understand and work together for the greater good.
I thought that it was unattainable, and in these past few years, I have come to realize that I can be/am an influencer. -
My understanding has been leadership has been instructing or overseeing another person or group. Teaching, directing, and providing support. The idea that leadership means ‘where you have influence’ is a much better concept that my previous understanding.

My understanding of leadership has been someone who is the main person in charge. I have a more developed understanding as a Believer about leadership in the Kingdom of God. We are called to serve, so there is a different type of leadership in the Body of Christ.
-
I always viewed leadership as holding high office, giving directives and even mentoring.

Actually, the lecture confirmed my understanding of Leadership.
