For me this is all about being in His presence so that He can transform us into His glorious image, just by showing up. We show up by reading and absorbing His word, doing life with other christians in a meaningful way, talking to and listening to our God.

Bible study is hearing from God, prayer is speaking to God, as well as listening to Him, fellowship is talking about God. Bible study feeds my understanding, prayer fuels my relationship and fellowship builds connection

Through bible study we get in the word and meditate in it and we consume it to nourish ourselves as we commune with God. Through fellowship, we share that feast not only with God, but the body of Christ and we also show love to the ones that might not receive it or see it anywhere else. In prayer, we acknowledge, praise and show thanksgiving and call on God to move or strengthen us individually and as a body to move in people’s lives.

We need to be hearing from God having that time of surrender to God. When he speaks to us we should be sharing that with other people who can support us

I believe that these are all incredible ways to build and maintain spiritual communication with God. I know that because Jesus modeled these three things for us in scripture. He would read scripture to be reminded or to remind others of the promises of God (gain knowledge of God and ourselves). He would fellowship with others to be encouraged by them, as well as point them back to Him and His Father. He would hide away to pray, allowing Himself to be full before going out and doing the work. He modeled the best way to share the Good News- be full of it yourself.
