God speaks to us through the word, the church, other people, circumstances, the Holy Spirit, dreams and visions.

If you want to hear God speak, read the Bible…if you want to hear Him speak audibly, read the Bible out loud…prayer also needs to be done spending more time listening for the Holy Spirit to speak to us, than us giving Him a laundry list of our wants and desires.

Bible study is a form of spiritual communication in that it is what God has spoken and is still speaking to us. Fellowship is a form of spiritual communication in that God can use other believers to speak to each other and to others. Prayer is a form of spiritual communication in that it is the way we can talk to God.

Bible study, fellowship, and prayer are all different forms of spiritual communication because they each involve connection with God, others, and the body of Christ for the purpose of spiritual growth. Through Bible study, God speaks to us. Through prayer, we speak to God. Through fellowship, God often works through others to encourage, sharpen, and strengthen us in our faith.

The Holy Spirit speaks to us, convicts us, encourages us, and equips us in many different ways. Bible Study, fellowship and prayer can all be ways the Holy Spirit speaks to our heart and allows us greater knowledge and relationship with Christ.

Bible study, prayer, and fellowship are all good practices for a Christian to have. God wants us, His people, to have a relationship with Him.
