Bible study speaks of our devotion to learning about God‘s character, fellowship holds us accountable to the changes that we should be making to ourselves and our lifestyle, and prayer is how we commune with God that’s how we separate ourselves to understand who he is and ourselves and community better.

I would say in short that Bible study is when God communicates with me, fellowship is when I communicate with others, and prayer is when I communicate with Him.

Bible Study is a time to devote to learning more about God’s character. As we continue to read and learn how various stories affect us, we begin to understand the importance of applying those lessons to help reform our own character. Fellowship is necessary for accountability, reassurance, intercession, or just to cry on a shoulder. Sometimes a reminder that we are not aloe goes a long way. Prayer is life changing, lifesaving way to communicate to God. Prayer has saved my life and kept my thought life in order. Prayer is the lifeline between us and the Holy Spirit.

I agree that these 3 principles are absolutely important for spiritual growth. They each have their place in areas of growth. Bible study allows for learning about God/Jesus intimately, in the area of fellowship, we gather to agree and share thoughts on the word of God and its impact on our lives, and finally, prayer is an opportunity to commune with God to express our love, and to give thanks for who He is.

Bible study, fellowship, and prayer are all forms of spiritual communication. The Bible, the Word of God, is the primary way that God communicates with his people, even today. Hebrews 4:12, For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

In addition, prayer is also a form of spiritual communication between man and God…not merely a list of requests from man to God, but a place where God communicates back to believers. Fellowship in community is a collective work of being with believers, sharing stories of God’s work in each others lives, and reading and studying the Word together.
