It has been said that when we study the Bible it isn’t so much us reading the Bible, but the Word reading us. It is God examining us. Fellowship is more communicating with fellow man to strengthen, encourage, comfort and sometimes correct. And prayer is just us talking to God, but should be conversational with Him through the Holy SPirit.

All three of these are modes of communication with God through the reading, studying, and memorizing of His Word (His written communication to us), through the fellowship and leaning into relationships with His Church (His family), and through prayer (direct communication from us to Him and vice versa).

The Bible is Gods breath written on pages for Him to speak to us and communicate His love, gospel message, and how we should walk out our faith. Fellowship with God in prayer is how we communicate with Him. We fellowship with other believers and talk to them about God, the Bible, and keep each other accountable. These are all forms of Spiritual communication.

Each area feeds one or more of our human senses as well as our nurtures the Spiritual ones, each area is critical for growth and opens the doors to transformation in our walk with Christ.

Fellowship = support and community for growth and teaching/ learning

Prayer = personal direct line to the Father. This nurtures and aides in personal formation accompanied with the Word will provide insight into the Lords character.

Both are essential parts or our walk and transformation until the Lord comes for us or we take our last breath.

When I do a bible study I am reading the word of God and learning what I need to be a Christian. I also pray and talk to god to help e understand his word. Both of these bring me closer. And when I talk t9 others about the Bible or God I also learn how to be closer to him. But all three I’m talking and thinking about God and the Bible and he knows my thoughts.
