I learned that God wants us to pray. The act of prayer is more than asking God to help us with our problems but is about having a relationship with him. When we pray, the outcome of a given situation could change as it did in the passage covered in the lecture.

One scripture mentioned in the lesson is written by David: “Because he bends down to listen, …” God will bend down to listen to me. It’s quite comforting that God does care and is eager to communicate with me. He truly loves us.

Prayer breaks every strong hold that this world puts on us all we have to do is put our faith and trust in God tell him our fears our needs and be thankful for what he has given us prayer also allows us to praise him and be thankful for all he has done for us

God is always there to listen to us; all we have to do is call on him. Prayer is far more than just asking for things; prayer can be just a conversation or praise to God. Prayer is our way to strengthen our relationship with God which is why we should seek him every day and throughout our day.

It has taught me that God wants to be a part of my life and wants to talk like how fathers converse with their children. He doesn’t just want to hear our thanksgivings. He wants us to take our worries and concerns to him first. He has so much planned for us and we just have to go to him and spend time with him. Take time to listen to our Father and have an open conversation. He will listen to the good and the bad. He loves us so much and wishes to have a close relationship with us.
