How did your study on the doctrine of Christ give you a deeper love for the Savior?

My love of the Savior comes from all that Jesu sacrificed for us on the cross, descended into hell, on the third day he arose from the dead, his resurrection from the dead and subsequence leaving the Holy Spirit with us as he went to sit at the right hand of God the Father until he comes to judge both living and the dead.

The doctrine of Christ comes from the Word of God, which is quite literally God’s words for us. In the same way spending time with a friend or family member will increase the intimacy of that relationship, the more time you spend in the God’s word the more connected you get to the Savior. Therefore, but studying the doctrine of Christ we inevitably grow closer and gain a deeper love for the Savior.
