It reminded me that there is nothing I can do to earn God’s favor. He is all I need and nothing I do can make Him love me any more or any less.

This study brought more into view His real humanity. Jesus really understands my existence because He lived it. He understands pain, fear, desire, recognition, anger and lived out a perfect life, and obediently went to be humiliated and tortured in my place. Not only did He do all that needed to be done, He continues to work on my behalf and make a place for me in His Kingdom. It’s one thing to be shown mercy, but grace upon grace upon grace is humbling and I am in awe.

My study on the doctrine of Christ gave me a deeper love for my Savior by reminding me how wide and deep and awe inspiring the scope of his love is. God is all we need. It is so true that we, as people, pursue our of selfish interests. God is actively involved in every area of our lives because he wants a personal relationship with us. Jesus has already done more for me than anyone ever can or will do. For his love and sacrifice I am eternally grateful. Being an example that point people to the love of Christ is the best way I can show him how much he means to me, by sharing him with others

It gave me a reawakening of my heart’s indebtedness for all He has done for us and continues to do as the great intercessor between us and God.
