  How did your study on the doctrine of Christ give you a deeper love for the Savior?

  I have a much deeper appreciation for Christ not only because He came to reveal God but that He endured a humiliating death as an atoning sacrifice to buy God’s forgiveness for me.

  Studying the doctrine of Christ reminded me of His sacrificial love for me. His selfless love inspires me to love Him and others in the same manner. It makes me want to be the living sacrifice that Paul speaks about in Romans 12:1.

  When God saw that the world had gone back to the sinful nature of man, he could have just wiped us away and started over completely. But instead, he proved his love for us by giving his only begotten Son, Jesus. How many of us would give our only child for an ungrateful lot of people who could care less? Christ died a horrible death that we cannot conceive today, for us. This study has made me feel the love that Christ has for me of which I sometimes take for granted. I pray that He has mercy and that every day I can remind myself of what He did for me.

  My study on the doctrine of Christ encourages me to continue in my pursuit and studying Scriptures and learning to live my life in obedience to him and to live in dependency upon him.
