The New Testament makes many claims, but none more shocking than that God Himself has come to earth as a human being. The New Testament is centered upon this claim. It’s written for those interested in learning the truth about this claim but also the truth about our human condition, about our relationship to God and the truth of who God is. However, many modern societies—especially those in the West—have a unique perspective on truth. That perspective is not exactly in sync with the Bible’s. Let’s explore this just a bit before we dig into the New Testament.
