Getting Started

In the next lesson we’ll begin to explore the background of the New Testament. But first it will be helpful to pause and consider what we bring with us into that exploration—our background, our expectations and our emotions. What passages are your favorites? Which ones cause you some concern? And which ones are bringing hope to countless believers around the world? Remember that some regular self-examination can be an essential part of good Bible study.
