Organizational communication is a powerful tool for either construction or destruction. In this course, learners discover biblical principles of interpersonal communication and conflict management in human relationships. The course gives attention to communication models, self-concept, nonverbal messages, stress, and strategies that assist Christian leaders in developing interpersonal communication skills. In addition, the course focuses on the nature of conflict, how to identify common styles of conflict management, and how to manage conflict acceptably and productively.

  • When I enrolled at Andersonville Theological Seminary, I was excited about it until I found out I had to take courses at Our Daily Bread University. I was familiar with Our Daily Bread daily devotional, but nothing else. I didn't realize there was a University connected to this brand. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am glad I continued pursuing my degree. This study has really helped me as it relates to my current role in Church leadership and where I will potentially serve in the future. The lecturers were easy to understand and the lessons provided enlightenment, enrichment and they caused me to evaluate and re-evaluate the way I approach various situations from a leadership perspective. If there were other courses I needed in the future and ODB University was recommended, I would definitely sign up.
