Lesson Overview
One of the easiest ways to become acquainted with a place new to us is to learn some of its general characteristics. In this session, we will introduce you to five key geographical characteristics of the Promised Land.
Lesson Objectives
When you complete this lesson, you should be able to do the following:
- Define five general, geographical characteristics of the Promised Land.
- Distinguish between Israel’s three geographical zones.
- Appreciate how little water was available to those living in this land in Bible times.
- Understand what the Bible means by the phrase, “land of milk and honey.”
