All the blessings promised by Jesus Christ will be fulfilled when He comes back

Knowing the verb tense can help place when to expect the fulfillment of the promise.

Reading the verses with the correct tenses of the verbs shows that while we can get a partial blessing from those actions, at the time of our reward our blessings will be so much the greater. It also puts forth the idea to not get discouraged if we do not get the full blessing instantly because we will not be forgotten when we stand before GOD.

It does help us to know this world is only for a time, His kingdom is forever.

I think it helps to identify that even though we may be facing injustice, discomfort, humiliation, etc, God has a plan to redeem and bless us. He does not leave the broken hearted, but instead will reward them. I think it’s important for us to realize that just because we are going through something and we don’t see any blessing or any way out, God has a plan for that.
