Do you tend to think of yourself more highly than you probably should? Or do you think you need to be reminded that you have more value than you typically feel? What about other people? Would you gauge their self-regard too high, or their self-esteem too low?

If Genesis is going to help us understand everything in the world better, it’s going to take us from the macro to the micro, from the cosmic to the personal. Who exactly are we? What does it mean to be human, uniquely “made in the image of God”? I think you’ll be surprised to see all that’s packed into this phrase and what difference – what differences that will make.
