Wrap-Up

This lesson gave you a lot of background on being made in God’s image. Do you think you need to make an adjustment in your self-image? Maybe a little higher … or a little lower? On a bigger scale, you started to see the significance of God’s image for how we continue his creative work and how we treat one another. This is pretty deep theology—and pretty practical too. 

Now get ready for a momentous hinge in the storyline of Scripture. Everything is about to be radically disrupted, but you won’t want to forget the important lessons of Genesis 1 and 2. God will not forget his original plan.
