Identification with Christ is the easiest for me because I am no longer identified in Adam; I am no longer identified in this rebellious world, but now I am in Christ. I am under the rule of Christ, I belong to Christ’s team, and that has huge implications for the way I live and understand my identity. Union is the most difficult because I have trouble starving the flesh – surrendering 100% of my life to Him.

I find Participation to be the easiest because I firmly believe I have a connection with Jesus. The most difficult – Incororation.

I can relate to the “union” term the easiest. It is Christ in me that makes me right with God and nothing else. The “identification” term is probably the difficult one for me. I know that I am identified with Christ but there are times when I look like I am on the other “team” when I stumble and sin.

The four key terms are union, participation, identification, and incorporation. Participation is the easiest for me because I am a true believer and know that I am connected with Christ. The most difficult would be incorporation due to my being an introvert and not always being willing to be in corporate situations.

Incorporation into Gods family is the easiest for me, believing we are all brothers and sisters in Him. Union is the hardest to comprehend; surrendering to His will over my own flesh.
