Union. I by God’s grace experience His presence, I believe, when I look to Him persistently every morning. I believe I experience His coming to be united to my spirit.

I can relate best to incorporation as I understand the need for the body of Christ to be in unity to achieve the kingdom of God. But at the same time it is disheartening to see that this incorporation isn’t happening as well as it should be. Identification with Christ is sometimes hard to keep central in my mind. As a human, it is easier to relate to sinful humanity rather than the holy Son of God. Conceptually I get the message of Christ becoming human and living the perfect life so that He could be the sacrifice for my sins but sometimes it’s hard to accept that I have a new nature especially after I have sinned.

I relate to all of the terms but union with Christ is what I relate to the best. I am so thankful that I am one with Christ. The more difficult term is incorporation because I have always been a loner. However I am working towards connecting with others in the church and being united with others as we are expected to do.

The most difficult to relate to is participation. I do t quite understand dying with Christ.

I relate to identification. When we accept Christ we belong to Jesus. We are no longer of this world but in Christ.
