Practically speaking, the Holy Spirit is the person of the Trinity who is most involved in our daily lives. But many Christians know far more about the Father and the Son than they do about the Spirit. In this series we’ll discover how the doctrine of the Holy Spirit developed historically, and we’ll explore the Spirit’s dynamic work in the world, in the church, and in believers.
- Trace the development of the doctrine of the Holy Spirit’s distinct personhood within the Trinity.
- Explore the Spirit’s works of creation and providence in the world at large.
- Explain the Spirit’s work in God’s Old and New Testament covenant communities.
- Examine the Spirit’s work in individual believers.

Great course

Christians tend to be familiar with the Father, the Son, but not the Spirit. Dr. Richard gives a clear, logical presentation of this topic. In fact, his course combines the segments of pneumatology and soteriology in systematic theology. He gives a fair presentation, when it comes to alternative views, e.g. romantic, mechanical or organic inspiration with regard to the Bible; cessationism, continuationism, and the spectrum in between with regard to supernatural spiritual gifts.

The overall course on " We believe in the Holy Spirit " was really good. It was an advanced course so I didn't know how I would do. I have an overall, overwhelming understanding of the Holy Spirit in my life. He's become more real and powerful to me.
