Lesson Overview
How does it feel when God tests your faith? What do you struggle with? In this lesson, Dr. Wilkinson unpacks five different beliefs that will be tested as you endure various trials. Learn to recognize your level of faith during each type of belief test and how you can grow your faith during each one.
Lesson Objectives
When you complete this lesson, you should be able to:
- Explain how you can expect God to respond based on whether you pass, fail, or leave a test of faith incomplete.
- Understand how your level of faith may vary based on your circumstances and the type of test you’re in.
- Describe the five Universal Belief Tests, the typical human reaction to them, and what the Bible tells us about God in these tests.
- Recognize how you might struggle in certain tests more than others.
- Remember that the ultimate result of the Belief Tests is for our good.
Personal Reflection
As you proceed through this lesson have the following question in mind.
Think through the five Belief Tests and identify the most difficult one for you. What happened in your life or family to cause you to doubt or question God in that area?
