2 Timothy 3:16–17 tells us, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
- How have you experienced God’s Word equipping you on your journey with the Lord?
- A key factor in being Christ-centered is allowing the Lord to direct our paths. How have you experienced the Lord directing your paths on your finishing-well journey?
One of the most important paths to true intimacy with the Lord is honesty in our prayer life. As C. S. Lewis said, we should “lay before Him what is in us, not what ought to be in us.”
- Describe a time where you’ve experienced a deep intimacy with the Lord as a result of being transparent with Him in your prayer life.
John 14:26 tells us, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”

One of the main characteristics of disciples is that they strive to imitate Jesus. Luke 6:40 tells us that “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.”
