I would not say so much a defense of my faith. I find that most people I interact with lately that has noticed I am walking in Christ (only for 2 years now), seem to be religious to some sense.

Growing up in a church family in my younger years, it skewed my understanding of the true Christian life. I was taught that simply knowing Jesus and knowing He had grace and mercy meant I was a Christian. Come to find out, I now know it requires a change in lifestyle to follow our Savour.

I feel like most people that interact with me are like my old belief of this “I know Jesus and He forgives, onto what I want to do”. This is where the road separates for me, as I see it requiring a life change towards Jesus. We will struggle and fail at times, but the goal is Christ centered and Spirit lead.

I worked with a guy several years ago who clearly stated that he was an atheist. However, he knew that I was a Christian and one day he ask me to explain my belief in Christ. After I did, he said that I was the only Christian that he felt could have potentially swayed him to become a Christian also. Years later I often wonder if he did!

Yes. When someone ask me of my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I told the person how and what the Lord Jesus Christ done in my life and how He changed my life forever.
