There was a time when I encountered two people who presented me about their religion. I tried to listen to what they said but back in my mind I wanted to correct what they were saying. I let them finish their presentation and give answer based on what the Bible is telling.

Yesterday morning, I got into an Uber and the driver asked me where I was headed. I told him that I was on my way to church and that’s when he began sharing his thoughts with me on religion and the hypocrisy of Christians. I was put in a position where I was given the opportunity to defend my faith, but as a new Christian my knowledge is still quite limited so I tried to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit by responding to the driver with kindness and compassion. I was able to reference certain scriptures in the Bible but ultimately the most effective tool I used was sharing my testimony — of the miraculous encounters I have had with Jesus. I spoke about what Jesus has done for me and how He changed my life. By the end of the car ride, the driver’s entire demeanour had changed and it seemed like his heart had softened. In that moment I realized that we can’t make convince someone to follow Jesus but we can give them an account for why we believe and hope in the Lord.

Yes, I was at work discussing a book on Spiritual disciplines with another coworker when someone entered the discussion to say why you are wasting time with Religion talk. Well, I went on to explain I am a faithful follower of Christ, and they were not a believer. After some short talk we agreed to disagree on the subject. A couple weeks later, the same person who questioned me was now seeking more information about God. We have slowly entered into what i am hoping will be a transformation of the nonbeliever’s heart to a life of Christ.

I have friends who close to me since college, We are both Christian and we part away for more than 10 years and after I met him again he turn to atheist, He try to persuade me to leave Jesus becase He is not really GOD, He try to convince me from many aspect and he learn alot about Judaism, On that moment I am difficult to convince hin back because his mindset has been set up with many teaching and he accept all the knowledge until he lose his faith. I just can say one thing to him and I know that he will never accept if. I say that Jesus still love you and wait you to come home. I dont know what happen with him now but I pray that he will find way to go back to Jesus.

This has happened with relatives and close family members Fortunately, we decided to use the Bible as a resource to seek the information we needed. Working in this together instilled a closeness that was evident v
