Every time I speak with my adult son who is a self-proclaimed atheist, I try to defend my beliefs. I am taking this course to try to do a better (and calmer) job of explaining to him.

In a recent visit with family the topic of faith and end times came up. Several pointed questions were posed to me (all of them sincere and genuine in tone) and I found myself uncomfortable with the fact that I didn't have answers. I am greatful for this course so that I might obtain the knowledge to provide those answers.

My husband believes in God but struggles to understand anything that the bible says or to understand the holy spirit. At times he will question me and I try to explain the best that I can. I only pray I say the right things.
