In a workshop for physics teaching, I was singled out as a young-earth creationist. I was able to give the biblical basis for my belief.

There were many times I had to share my faith but I recall one time when I was challenged and had to answer questions to an athiest friend. I was bold enough to invite her to a Christian Women Conference and the topic was to To Fear God is The Beginning of Wisdom (Psalm 111:10). She had so many questions that I was not ready to answer at the time. I wish I was ready and pray that if I ever have the opportunity again, I will share my faith as always and be ready to defend with facts.

I have shared my faith many times over my lifetime. Now I am 74 and have somewhat of a reputation in my small town for turning every conversation, everywhere into talking about Jesus, my favorite subject.

Yes. When I Worked in a large manufacturing plant it was often difficult to defend my faith in that environment

Having been raised in a Christian family and being baptized as a young person, I have had a deep love for Christ for as long as I can remember. I’m now 74 and am known in my hometown, to which I returned almost ten years ago, as someone who will always turn the conversation to Jesus somehow-in the post office, in the pharmacy, in, well, you get the picture. I’ve come to see it not so much as defending my faith but as throwing kisses to my Lord who I love above all else. It has taken a lifetime but now I can truly say that everyday with Jesus is sweeter than the day before and I continue to know Him afresh. The Bible is my favorite book because if you lose yourself in it, it will keep on helping you grow.
