A friend of mine asked and although I spoke with enthusiasm I regretfully lacked humility. I went on and on about my faith. I wished I would have taken the time to seek to understand her by asking more questions around why she doesn’t believe rather than why I do.

Yes. In a job where evangelism is center, I am regularly engaging with people around why I believe what I believe.

The only time I’ve been in a similar situation was when the Mormons knocked on my door. We shared snacks and cola’s. I asked them questions as did they. Everything I asked they had to look it up. I knew what was in my bible and had no problem answering their questions. The boys were young and I just wanted them to understand we all have different beliefs. I commend them for their commitment.
