While Bibles among different Christian traditions are, in most respects, identical, examples like Psalm 151 NRSV are exceptions to that rule. They remind us of the uniqueness of different traditions and some of the diversity of the ways the Bible has been received and preserved around the world. If you’re familiar with this verse, you are likely a member of an Eastern or Orthodox Church. Some traditions that include this hymn as Psalm 151 NRSV are the Coptic Orthodox Church, the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Armenian Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church.
